*Mercy College는 1950년데 설립됐으며, 약 1만명 정도의 학생 수를 가지고 있는 중형 크기의 대학으로 5개의 단과 대학으로 구성되어 있으며, 90개의 학사 학위 와 대학원 학위전공을 개설.특히 이 대학은 학교와 학생간에 학습계약서(PACT)를 맺고 이 학습계약서에 의거하여 학생들이 4년간 학업을성공적으로 할 수 있도록 엄정한 학사 관리를 하고 있는데, 이 프로그램으로연방정부로부터 10억원의 연구 지원금을 받기도 한 학교이다.
